
Free Music in Downtown East Lansing
The Summer Concert Series features live music on Fridays and Saturdays in downtown East Lansing's Fountain Square and Ann Street Plaza. Music lovers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and grab a bite to eat in one of downtown East Lansing's friendly eateries.

In addition to the outdoor concerts, the Summer Solstice Jazz Festival (June 20-21) and Great Lakes Folk Festival (Aug. 8-10) take place on the streets of downtown East Lansing every summer.
