Registration Information
Class Cancellation Process
Most classes require a minimum number of participants in order to be held. If we cancel a class due to low enrollment, we will contact you by phone within 24 hours of the first class and a refund will be issued to you within 30 days.
Credit Procedure
To cancel a class registration, please call 333-2580. Class cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the first class in order to receive 100 percent credit. A 50 percent credit will be given if requested prior to the second class. No credit is available after the second class. In the case of a one-day workshop, no credits are given after the first class. The credit will be held on account for one year and may be used by any member of your household. No refunds will be given.
Inclement Weather
The City of East Lansing makes every attempt to keep program participants safe during inclement weather. Decisions to cancel due to inclement weather are made on a case by case basis. Please call the inclement weather hotline at 333-2580, ext. 49 to learn of canceled programs or services. Every attempt will be made to provide a makeup session(s).
Youth Scholarships
Financial assistance is available to qualifying East Lansing youth, living within City limits, for class and/or program scholarships. Scholarship applications are available at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center.
