Yoga & Well Being
Stretch, Move & Relax (18 & up)
Experience and enjoy the benefits of stretching. Reduce tension, feel more relaxed and enhance coordination and range of motion. The Stretch and Relax classes offer the opportunity to learn and practice a variety of stretches in mindful movement. (Flexibility is not required.) Various movements will be introduced in a slow, attentive manner and will address the whole body. Stretches will be performed standing, sitting and lying down.
Please limit food intake 2-3 hours prior to class. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a mat or blanket for the floor. Instructor: Jo Martinie
Kripalu Yoga (18 & up)
This Kripalu Yoga class is designed for new and ongoing yoga students. The structure of the class will continue to include centering, stretching, Yoga postures and a relaxation. During each class, postural alignment and breath awareness will be emphasized and movement modifications will be introduced and encouraged. The gentle approach to Yoga will continue to be the theme in an atmosphere where personal expression of Yoga postures will be encouraged. Everyone will be reminded to move at their own pace and develop self-awareness.
Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended. Please bring a mat and blanket to class. Limit food intake 2-3 hours prior to class. Instructor: Jo Martinie
Teen Yoga in the Park (13 & up)
There's no question that teens live in a fast-paced world. Drop it all and RELAX, REJEUVINATE and DE-STRESS with our yoga class designed just for teens! Yoga increases strength and flexibility,which improves overall self-esteem and body image. Yoga may also improve the ability to manage stress and can even improve sleep habits and relaxation. Mom & Me Yoga in the Park (4 & up)
Hey Moms - do you find yourself torn between wanting to exercise, but also wanting to spend time with your child(ren) on the weekends? Well, now you can do both in our Mom & Me Yoga class designed just for you! Together, you can strengthen, tone, relax and BOND as you move through the yoga poses. nstructor: Stretch and Grow
Children must be 4 & up to participate. $40 includes parent and 1 child. Each additional child is $20 for the 4 classes.
Yoga in the Park (13 & up)
Salute the sun with this energizing outdoor Hatha yoga practice. Enjoy the summer weather and a relaxing walk afterward. This class meets on the Hannah soccer field. In case of inclement weather, class will be held indoors. Instructor: Tara Scott

Fitness Yoga (18 & up)
This class moves at a slower pace than Fitness Yoga - Level II. More advanced poses are infitness yoga so it's beneficial to start out with the gentler form and move to the Level II class when you're ready.Fitness Yoga is a freestyle class that targets flexibility, core stability and strength. The Sun salutation is comprised of 12 yoga poses that alternately bend the spine forward and backward. The breath is integrated with the flow of the movement. Forward bends, twisting poses and backward bends are designed to move the spine in all directions. Standing poses build strength, flexibility and balance. Careful attention is paid to the proper alignment of the body. Strengthen the abdominals and back muscles, increase shoulder and joint mobility, and relax for a comprehensive workout. Please bring your own mat as well as a towel (to be used for stretches in lieu of yoga straps).
