Bulk Leaf Collection
Each fall, the Street Division conducts a bulk leaf collection for East Lansing. During this collection, no bags, stickers or fees are required.
Simply rake your loose leaves, grass clippings and plant material (no brush) between the curb and sidewalk. If there is no curb, rake leaves to within three feet of the road. Please E. NOT rake leaves into the road as they block storm drains.
Collection Schedule:
City crews will be collecting leaves on the west side of the City the week of Dec. 3 starting on the north side and working to the south.
Crews should complete leaf collection north of Saginaw by the end of the day on Tuesday, Dec. 4 and work south of Saginaw on Wednesday, Dec. 5 and into Thursday, Dec. 6.
