The Challenge History

In January, in honor of East Lansing's 100th birthday, more than 100 community members submitted ideas for East Lansing's Official Centennial Ice Cream Flavor. A small committee then narrowed the field of flavor ideas to "The Great 8" in February 2007. In March, more than 600 individuals narrowed the finalists to three by voting for their favorite of "The Great 8" online.
