Centennial Sculpture

By John Neering

In honor of the City of East Lansing's Centennial, the East Lansing Arts Commission commissioned an artist to create a Centennial Sculpture for Valley Court Park, which is located in the western portion of the downtown district. The sculpture will be placed on a 8 foot circular base as a new addition to the park.

The East Lansing Arts Commission has an ongoing program for the placement of public art which is funded by the
City of East Lansing's Art Set Aside Ordinance.
