Historic District Commission logo The Historic District reviews proposed alterations and additions to the exterior of structures within historic districts, provides educational materials and programs on preservation principles and practices. Upcoming Public Hearing

A public hearing will held on on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 7 p.m., in the 54-B District Court, Courtroom 2, 101 Linden Street for the purpose of considering a request from 1) Community Resource Management Company for the property at 426 Park Lane to request approval for the replacement of the front porch on the house in treated lumber. The work has already been done without a permitm 2) Mike and Robin Vallender for the property at 321 Kensington to replace windows on the north and northwest side of the home, on the second floor, and 3) Sunrise Cleaning and Construction Services for the property at 215 Kensington to request approval to convert the existing narrow, cottage-style windows on the house to traditional double-hung windows. The work is being done to restore the house after a 2013 fire.
