Want to Serve as an Election Inspector in the City of East Lansing?
- Election Inspectors must be qualified and registered electors in either Ingham or Clinton County.
- Election Inspectors are paid $120 for working the entire day on Election Day and $60 for working half of Election Day. In addition, those appointed as Election Inspectors must attend a training session as required under Michigan Election law.
- Applications must be filed with the City Clerk. Michigan Election law requires that applications be in the person’s own handwriting.
