ELFD has a total of 53 staff members, including 48 staff members specifically in fire suppression and 34 paramedics and EMTs, who are dispatched out of two stations. EMS personnel are cross trained to serve as firefighters and emergency medical responders.

ELFD apparatus inventory includes one rescue vehicle, two fire engines, two 75-foot fire “quint” trucks, three transporting ALS (paramedic) units, a mobile air trailer, a “Pumper and Pal” trailer and a rescue boat.

Each member of ELFD undergoes extensive training and EMS personnel undergo continuous training in order to renew their licenses.
