Concert
The Community Events program produces and sponsors more than 50 community events a year.The goal of the program is to provide rich arts and cultural events to the residents of East Lansing and our neighboring cities. Many of these activities conveniently take place in the heart of our vibrant downtown.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Summer Concert Series - Check out the 2010 lineup featuring live music Friday and Saturday nights in downtown East Lansing.
  • Play in the Park - Kids all of all ages will enjoy this interactive entertainment series on Tuesdays in July.
  • Moonlight Film Festival - Watch movies on the big screen in Valley Court Park this summer.
  • East Lansing Farmers' Market - The East Lansing Farmer’s Market, robust with a diverse selection of fresh, farm-grown Michigan produce and products, is open on Sundays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Valley Court Park.
  • Great Lakes Folk Festival - Enjoy a unique fusion of arts fair, music festival, county fair, multi-ethnic festival, hands-on activity workshops and celebration of cultural heritage on Aug 13-15, 2010 in downtown East Lansing.
