The Community Events program produces and sponsors more than 50 community events a year. The goal of the program is to provide rich arts and cultural events to the residents of East Lansing and our neighboring cities. Many of these activities conveniently take place in the heart of our vibrant downtown.

HIGHLIGHTS

Summer Solstice Jazz Festival - Take in a two-day, jazzed-infused festival in the heart of downtown East Lansing. It a high-caliber bevy of local and national jazz performers in the heart of downtown East Lansing. It's free!
Summer Concert Series - The City of East Lansing hosts a popular outdoor Summer Concert Series, featuring seven weekends of live music on Fridays and Saturdays in downtown East Lansing. It's free!
