HIGHLIGHTS

• Monument to Honor Local War Hero - The City and the Rotary Club are working together to erect a monument in honor of local American war hero, U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Sherrod Skinner, at the community center. Donations are being accepted.
• Pool Schedule (summer) - Download East Lansing Hannah Community Center's pool schedule, which began June 10, 2013.
• Archer Trojan Community Soccer Camp - For the first time, the City of East Lansing and ELPS are partnering to co-sponsor the Archer Trojan Community Soccer Camp the week of July 15 and 22.
• 2013 Summer Camp Enrollment - Registration for 2013 summer camps is open for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. The camps feature a weekly theme.
• Patriarche Park - The pavilion and picnic tables in the open areas in Patriarche Park can be reserved by contacting the Department of Public Works at (517) 337-9459 or lstorch@cityofeastlansing.com.
• Playground in the Park Reimagined - The Rotary Club of East Lansing, in partnership with the City of East Lansing, has launched a fundraising campaign for a new playground at Patriarche Park.
• Inclement Weather Line - Call 333-2580 x6565 for up-to-date information on program/event cancellations and building closures due to inclement weather.
• Recreation Passport - To get our State of Michigan Recreation Passport, just check "YES" on your license plate renewal from. Your $11 gets you into all 98 state parks and recreation areas. Visit michigan.gov/recreationpassport.
