The City of East Lansing's Non-Motorized Transportation Plan has been approved and is final. The plan will guide future bicycle and pedestrian improvements in the community.
The City of East Lansing hired The Greenway Collaborative, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in non-motorized transportation to help facilitate preparation of East Lansing’s Non-Motorized Transportation Plan. The plan was created following a series of public workshops, where community input was solicited.
East Lansing City Council approved the plan following a thorough vetting process with East Lansing’s boards and commissions. Now that it is approved, the plan’s proposed improvements will be incorporated into future City projects, which will work to improve and expand non-motorized amenities in the East Lansing community.
