Parking permits for downtown parking lots are available for purchase. For general information and pricing, click here.
Pay-Later Notices Pay-Later Notices are issued in the City's attended parking lots. There are two scenarios in which an attendant may issue a pay-later notice: 1) the customer is unable to provide sufficients funds (cash, credit or debt) or 2) the customer's vehicle is left in the lot after the lot has closed. Park & Shop Validations Park & Shop Validations are available for purchase in packs of 25 and are available in $.60 and $.65 increments. East Lansing merchants receive a 40% discount on validation prices.
Residential Parking Permits
Residential Parking Permits, which allow for street parking during designated times, are available in select East Lansing neighborhoods including Bailey, College Grove, Central and Red Cedar. Proof of ownership/residency is required to purchase permits. *Rules and regulations vary for each neighborhood.
