The popular recycling and reuse event, Recycle! East Lansing, will take place on Saturday, June 1 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Abbott Center. Most items are collected free of charge. Proof of residency required.

The East Lansing Farmer’s Market will kick off its 2013 season with an earlier opening date and celebrate its five-year anniversary on Sunday, June 9. The 2013 season will run June 9-Oct. 27 on Sundays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Valley Court Park.
