The popular Moonlight Film Festival will continue with "Singin' in the Rain" on Thursday, July 31 at 9:30 p.m. in Valley Court Park. Live music with Ben Hall begins at 8:30 p.m. *Goomba's Pizza will be on site as well!

City of East Lansing Provides Update on Phone System

The City of East Lansing's phone system was partially restored last night and it is anticipated that there will be full service restoration by this evening, July 31. Until the phone system is fully restored, community members should continue to dial (517) 272-6046 to have an East Lansing Police officer or Parking and Code Enforcement (PACE) officer dispatched for non-emergency matters. In an emergency, dial 911.

National Night Out, Touch-a-Truck Event to Take Place Aug. 5

The community is invited to the City of East Lansing’s 2014 National Night Out, Touch-a-Truck event, taking place Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), 950 Abbot Road.

Great Lakes Folk Festival, Aug. 8-10

Hagadorn Road and Burcham Drive Closed through July 31

The intersection of Hagadorn Road and Burcham Drive will be closed to traffic through through Thursday, July 31 due to construction. In addition, the road closure on Hagadorn Road, between Burcham Drive and Haslett Road, will remain in place during this time period. *The completion date was extended due to additional electrical work.
