It's no wonder why our City takes so much pride in being the Home of Michigan State University.

Located along the southern border of East Lansing, MSU is a college known for its exceptional academics, enthusiastic students and breathtaking, 5,000-acre campus. Since its founding in 1855, MSU has grown to include more than 200 programs of academic study in addition to more than 200 study abroad programs in more than 60 countries.

Each year the City is proud to welcome MSU students from 83 counties in Michigan, all 50 states in the U.S. and approximately 125 foreign countries back to East Lansing for another exciting year at one of the largest public universities in the United States.

Our students are, in part, what make East Lansing such a wonderful place to live, work and play.
