EAST LANSING, Mich. — Tickets are still available for the Daddy Daughter Butterfly Ball, which will be hosted on two back-to-back evenings Feb. 7-8 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road.

Elementary-aged and middle school-aged children can bring a parent or other adult guardian as their “date” to one of these popular annual dances. The dances include music, refreshments and a keepsake. A photographer will also be on hand for those wishing to purchase a photo. Dressy-casual attire is recommended. Boys are welcome too.

“Each year hundreds of daddy-daughter duos make their way to ELHCC for this fun-filled event,” said ELHCC Program Coordinator Kathleen Miller. “This festive Valentine’s Day celebration is a special annual tradition for many in our community and a great time is always had by all.”
