One Book, One Community Announces 2014 Selections

The City of East Lansing and MSU announce the 2014 OBOC program, featuring three voices on the continuing struggle for racial equality. This year, OBOC will feature a graphic novel, "March Book One" by U.S. Congressman John Lewis, "The Grace of Silence: by NPR contributor and award-winning journalist Michele Norris and "Fruitvale Station" by director Ryan Coogler.

UPDATE: THE LANE HAS REOPENED

 

Tree removal work will take place on eastbound Saginaw Street between Touraine Avenue and Audubon Road beginning at 8:45 a.m. today, reducing eastbound traffic to one lane. The work is expected to take several hours.
