One Book, One Community to Bring Michele Norris to Wharton Center's World View Lecture Series

NPR personality and award-winning journalist Michele Norris will speak about her memoir "The Grace of Silence" and the "Race Card" project on Monday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Wharton Center. One Book, One Community to Bring “Fruitvale Station” Film Writer and Director Ryan Coogler to East Lansing

The community is invited to meet “Fruitvale Station” film writer and director Ryan Coogler as part of the 2014 One Book, One Community program, presenting "Three Voices on Race in America." Coogler will discuss his film at a special event on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Kellogg Center Auditorium. Admission is first come, first seated. It’s free.
