Fiscal Year 2011-12 Grant Funds
The East Lansing Arts Commission distributes grant funding for East Lansing public art projects and events. The review process requires the submission of an Arts Commission Grant Funds Application.
The application must be completed in its entirety and received by September 1, 2011 at 5 p.m. to be considered for grant funding in Fiscal Year 2011-12. Funds will be released in October 2011.
Grant Funding
The Arts Commission has up to $10,500 to allocate to cultural arts projects for Fiscal Year 2011-12. The Commission makes two types of grants available to individuals or organizations:
1) Quick grants (capped at $500) support one-time and/or start-up cultural arts projects
2) Cultural arts grants support projects that encourage artistic awareness, public participation and/or cultural art appreciation.
