The East Lansing Arts Commission is soliciting new ideas for its public art program, which utilizes public art funds to purchase or commission art that will be located in highly visible public areas throughout the East Lansing community. East Lansing residents are encouraged to submit their ideas, which will be considered for new public art projects, such as project location suggestions, and theme and media concepts at www.cityofeastlansing.com/ideas through the end of April 2009. The Arts Commission will consider the community submissions in making future project recommendations to the City Council.
