  • Urban Design Guidelines - The public and stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback on the Urban Design Guidelines. The document helps guide decisions about design elements in downtown East Lansing, including decorative paving in the alleys, fences around the surface parking lots and the addition of public art throughout the downtown.
  • Trowbridge Center Redevelopment Project - An application for the proposed Trowbridge Village Lifestyle Center from Trowbridge Village, LLC for site plan and special use permit approval has been submitted to the City of East Lansing Planning Commission.
  • DTN Submits Site Plan and Financial Information - DTN presented a site plan and financial information to the Ctiy of East Lansing on February 28, 2014. These documents are available for review on the Park District page.
  • Comprehenisve Plan Update - Community members are encouraged to participate in the Comprehensive Plan update, which started in September and takes place over 18 months. The plan update, which will be referred to as the Bigger Picture, is an important working document that projects land use planning 20 years into the future.
  • Michigan State University/East Lansing Corridor Vision Presentation - Dr. Scott Witter, the director of the MSU School of Planning, Design and Consultation, presents design ideas for the Michigan Avenue and Grand River Avenue Corridor at a City Council meeting. View the Powerpoint presentation.
  • Link to Economic Development - Learn about economic development in East Lansing with interactive GIS mapping, a new property locator and site selection features.r.
  • Capital Area Multi Modal Gateway - Operated by CATA, the construction of the Amtrak Train Station will begin in the summer of 2014 and conclude by mid 2015.
  • Senior Housing Survey Report – The senior housing survey report has been completed and presented to the City Council in February 2014.
