East Lansing’s school district, East Lansing Public Schools (ELPS), offers students an unrivaled educational experience. ELPS is responsible for the education of approximately 3,760 students, who attend the following schools within the district: Donley Elementary, Glencairn Elementary, Marble Elementary, Red Cedar Elementary, Robert L. Green Elementary, Whitehills Elementary, MacDonald Middle School (MMS) and East Lansing High School (ELHS).
Michigan State University (MSU) is a public research university and is the first land-grant institution that was created to serve as a model for future land-grant colleges. It's home to nationally ranked and recognized academic, residential college and service-learning programs.
