Where do I recycle?
- The City of East Lansing offers single-stream curbside recycling to single-family homes, duplexes and small, multi-family homes with up to 20 units.
- Residents can drop off recyclable items at the City's 24/7 drop-off recycling site, located at the East Lansing Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road.
- Curbside recycling collection takes place on a bi-weekly (every other week) schedule for each address.

- The City's drop-off site at 1800 E. State Road is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How do I recycle?
- Curbside recycling should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on collection day, but no earlier than 8 p.m. the night before.
- There is no need to sort or bag curbside items as it is a single-stream program.
