Election Info

All qualified individuals are encouraged to register to vote and keep their voter registration address up-to-date. If you have a Michigan driver’s license or state ID, you may register to vote or update your information online here. Otherwise, you can complete the paper voter registration application and return it to your local clerk. Please keep in mind, if you wait until the two-week period prior to an election, you must register to vote in person with your local clerk and provide proof of residency.

Michigan election law anticipates that not all voters will have picture ID. Voters who do not have acceptable picture ID or forgot to bring acceptable picture ID to the polls can vote like any other voter by signing an affidavit that will be on hand.
