The Department of Public Works & Environmental Services (DPW) provides engineering, sanitation, environmental, transportation, water and sewer services to the community. The mission of the DPW is to maintain and improve the City’s infrastructure and environment and provide high-quality services to the community making East Lansing a great place to live, study and work.

The City of East Lansing will hold a public meeting (PDF) on Thursday, April 20 at 5 p.m. at the Department of Public Works, 1800 E. State Road regarding proposed water meter and reading system replacements, water main improvements, new elevated water storage tank and lead service line replacement projects for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons.
