The City of East Lansing is pleased to co-host the 2023 Recycle Rama event, which will be taking place on Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Ingham County Health Department, 5303 S. Cedar St.
The event is open to all community members and provides an opportunity for community members to recycle or donate Styrofoam, CFLs, LED lights, fluorescent tubes, medications, thermometers, hearing aids, eyeglasses, electronics ($10 fee per tv and monitor; cash or check only), clothing, shoes, household items, fabric/yarn, plastic, glass bottles and jars, cardboard, paper, books, bicycles, scrap metal and appliances. Room air conditioners and dehumidifiers will also be collected and Lansing Board of Water & Light customers will receive a $25 rebate for these items.
Community members are encouraged to stay tuned for additional updates regarding material pick-up opportunities for East Lansing's senior residents, coordinated through the Prime Time Seniors Program and East Lansing Department of Public Works and Environmental Services.
