Consolidated Plan

As a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement community, the City of East Lansing is required per federal guidelines to submit a Consolidated Plan document to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) every five years.

About the Consolidated Plan

The Consolidated Plan is a detailed report presenting HUD with information regarding demographic and socio-economic population information as well as an assessment of strategic priorities for programming and projects the City intends to fund with CDBG dollars over the course of the next five years. Key funding areas include homelessness, anti-poverty prevention, housing and community development activities.

The Consolidated Plan was submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on June 1, 2016 for final approval.
