A number of regulations have been implemented in the City's municipal parking facilities, including six parking garages, seven surface lots and on-street meters, to help ensure that the parking areas are kept safe and clean for all customers and downtown residents:
Overnight parking is permitted in the City's municipal parking garages and surface lots (gated lots only)
Loitering is prohibited for your safety and safety of others
Event tailgating is not permitted
Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited
Skateboarding, rollerblading, roller skating, bicycle riding or any other activity of this type in parking garages and lots is prohibited
Parking is permitted in marked stalls only
No refunds are distributed at the parking office
Tailgating Exiting Penalty Fee - Tailgating (piggy-backing/shadowing) another vehicle to exit a gated parking facility without paying is prohibited. Utilizing the camera system, a Tailgating Exiting Penalty Fee of $40 (per offense) will be billed to the registered owner of the vehicle.
