FY22 Cultural Arts Grant

The East Lansing Arts Commission distributes grant funding for public art projects and events in East Lansing. The commission has up to $17,500 to allocate to cultural arts projects for Fiscal Year 2022. 

Grant Description

The Cultural Arts Grant program supports high-quality public art projects that encourage artistic expression and public participation, with an emphasis on promoting cultural appreciation for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities as well as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community. Fiscal Year 2022 grant-funded programs must take place between October 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.

FY22 Cultural Arts Grant Webinar

A webinar was hosted via Zoom on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. to answer questions and provide an overview of the Cultural Arts Grant. The webinar was recorded and can be viewed here.

Final Report

Grant recipients are required to submit an Online Final Report, which is used by the Arts Commission to evaluate funding. Please complete and return the final report within 60 days of the completion day of the funded project or activity.
