The East Lansing Arts Commission distributes grant funding for public art projects and events in East Lansing. The commission has up to $17,500 to allocate to cultural arts projects for Fiscal Year 2023.
Grant Description
The Cultural Arts Grant program supports high-quality public art projects that encourage artistic expression and public participation, with an emphasis on promoting cultural appreciation for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities as well as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community. Fiscal Year 2023 grant-funded programs must take place between November 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.

Final Report
Grant recipients are required to submit an
Online Final Report, which is used by the Arts Commission to evaluate funding. Please complete and return the final report within 60 days of the completion day of the funded project or activity.
