Play in the Park

Play in the Park, an interactive children's entertainment series, has become a tradition in East Lansing. Children and their families can bring a picnic, blanket and/or lawn chair and enjoy family friendly entertainment in a beautiful park setting.

Play in the Park takes place in Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court, at 7 p.m. on three Tuesdays in July. It's free! *Canceled in the event of rain or severe weather.

    July 11 Story Rhythms with Karen Bonnici Czarnik
    Join Karen Bonnici Czarnik for a fun collection of songs and stories that will have kids talkin', clappin' and tappin' all the way home.
    July 18 Baffling Bill the Magician
    Baffling Bill the Magician and Gus the bunny will return to the park to amaze and astound audiences with baffling magic and illusions!
    July 25 Fun Tales at the Park with Ivory D. Williams
    Children are invited to bring their funny bone and thinking caps to the park for an interactive storytelling session featuring Master Storyteller Ivory D. Williams.
