Winter Fest

This winter-inspired annual tradition, hosted by the East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts (ELPRA), will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Stop by for free entertainment and craft activities as well as the popular Winter Farmers Market. 

This year's event will include a number of fun activities, including ice carving, outdoor fire pits with s’mores for roasting, an indoor bounce house, indoor Nerf Games, a photo booth, concessions, crafts/activities and informational tables provided by the East Lansing Public Library, East Lansing Art Festival, East Lansing Police Department and East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts. 

Additionally, the live entertainment and music lineup will include performances by:

  • Beeswax Barrn: Beeswax candles, body care items, creams, bars, balms, soap, deodorant, fire starters, reusable food wraps  
  • Destica’s: Jewelry crafts  
  • Fur Real Dog Treats: dehydrated meat dog snacks 
  • G3FOOD4ALL: dairy free/gluten free/vegan baked goods 
  • Jenny’s Sweets and Treats: baked goods, jams and jellies, eggs 
  • River Tree Coffee Co.: fresh roasted coffee

  • Summer Nights Apiaries: fresh local honey
  • Sweet Potato Delights: cheesecake, cookies (lemon, oatmeal chocolate chip), black bean hummus, beet hummus, potato leek soup, butternut squash soup, three-bean chili 
  • Taqueria Monarca Food Truck: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, burrito bowls, tortas 
  • Where the Wild Things Bloom: holiday-themed wreaths 
  • Wooden Shoe Herb Farm: lip balms, essential oils, dried flowers
  • 517 Coffee Company: roasted coffee, hot brewed coffee, cold brew coffee, fresh-squeezed lemonade
