City of East Lansing Payment Due Notice (Downtown Attended Lots)
Payment due notices are issued to those who:
1.) Tailgate out of lots/garages without paying. Video footage is used to track license plate numbers and issue citations (sent directly to court). 2.) Do not have payment at the exit. A parking ambassador will be sent to issue the notice in person at the lot if the customer cannot pay.
All payment due notices are issued for the daily maximum ($15 in garages/$20 in surface lots/$30 on special event days).
