The Historic District Commission reviews proposed alterations and additions to the exterior of structures within historic districts and provides educational materials and programs on preservation principles and practices. The Historic District Commission consists of seven members serving three-year terms who meet monthly.

A Public Hearing (PDF) will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in the 54B District Court, Courtroom 2, 101 Linden St. If, at the time of this hearing, meetings are still not permitted under an Executive Order of the Governor and an Executive Order permitting meetings electronically allows for an electronic meeting, this hearing will occur electronically and a notice of the means of participation in that hearing will be published in compliance with the Open Meetings Act and any relevant Executive Orders.
