The Park District Planning Area Review Team was appointed by the Downtown Development Authority on Feb. 28, 2013 to review the proposals submitted in response to the RFQ/P. It held a series of public meetings to review the six proposals for the Park District Planning Area. The meetings included developing review criteria, scoring the proposals, conducting public interviews of the developers and a financial review of the top three. View the Review Process.
Review Team Recommendation
On May 22, 2013, the Review Team held their final meeting where they voted to recommend the proposals from DTN Management Company and Lurvey White Ventures to City Council for further consideration as potential development partners for the Park District Planning Area.
Final Recommendation
After a series of public meetings, City staff recommended DTN Management Company as the preferred development partner to City Council. Ultimately, City Council selected DTN Management Company as the development partner for the Park District Planning Area at its Aug. 6, 2013 meeting.
