Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Information & Application

The East Lansing Homeowner Rehabilitation Program is a joint neighborhood improvement and stabilization project of Capital Area Housing Partnership and the City of East Lansing. The program assists low- to moderate-income households in the rehabilitation of housing in East Lansing and, by doing so, contributes to neighborhood stabilization.

Key Features of the Rehab Program:

• Focus on safety hazards, major mechanical systems, and accessibility improvements (including ramps and bathroom safety features like grab bars and tub-to-shower conversions)
• Up to $24,999 in rehabilitation assistance
• Must be income-qualified (at or below 80% of Area Median Income)
• Subject to funding availability
