The public hearing is to consider an application from United Hospitality Group East Lansing for the property located at 1100 Trowbridge Road, in the B-2, Retail Sales Business District, for a variance from the following requirement of Chapter 50 – Zoning Code of the City of East Lansing: Section 50-147(1)(b): within any yard not bordering a street, fences, or walls, other than retaining walls, shall not exceed six feet in height. The applicant is requesting after-the-fact approval for an 8-foot-tall solid fence constructed along the west property line where only a 6-foot-tall solid fence is permitted.
