EAST LANSING, Mich. — The winners of the 2019 East Lansing Community Photo Contest; officially sponsored by Meijer, the East Lansing Downtown Management Board and the East Lansing Farmers Market; have been announced. Of the 254 photographs submitted, 13 were selected as winners:
- 1st Place – Julie Anna, Midnight in the Alleyway
- 2nd Place – Christian Hickey, Broad Art Museum
- 3rd Place – John McGraw, Sunrise in East Lansing
- Downtown East Lansing winner – Victor DiRita, Grand River Avenue Sunset
- East Lansing Farmers Market winner – Pooh Stevenson, Fall at the ELFM
Honorable Mention winners are as follows:
- Christian Hickey – Lights on Grand River Avenue
- Carleigh Lewaniak – Abbot Road Park
- Gary Caldwell – Beaumont Tower at Night
- Monica Williamson – These Are the Banks I Consider When I Need to Spend
- Nathan Pence – Sleeping Squirrel

The winning photos will be featured in a variety of City marketing materials, online and in print. All of the photos have been posted on the City’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cityofeastlansing/.
