EAST LANSING, Mich. — East Lansing’s November 5, 2019 General Election results have been certified by the Ingham County Board of Canvassers and the administration of the oath of office for the newly elected and re-elected East Lansing City Councilmembers is scheduled to take place next week.
East Lansing City Clerk Jennifer Shuster will administer the oath of office to the City Councilmembers-elect at the beginning of Council’s regular meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in Courtroom 2 of the East Lansing 54B District Court, 101 Linden St. The City Councilmembers-elect are Lisa Babcock, Jessy Gregg and Mark S. Meadows.
The East Lansing City Council will then elect the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem and the oath of office will be administered for those leadership positions.
Following the oath of office, the meeting will continue with regular agenda items.
