[ARCHIVED] Westbound W. Grand River Avenue Utility Work Postponed Until Next Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Due to weather conditions, the underground utility work in the 100 block of W. Grand River Avenue that was originally scheduled to take place this week has been postponed until next week.

Motorists are advised that the center and right lanes of westbound W. Grand River Avenue (in the 100 block starting at Abbot Road) are now scheduled to be closed from Nov. 18-22 to accommodate the underground utility work.

During this time, the pedestrian covered walkway adjacent to the Park District redevelopment project will also be closed and a pedestrian detour will be in place. Delays are expected and alternate routes are advised.
