EAST LANSING, Mich. — Tickets are now available for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commission of Mid-Michigan’s 35th Annual Day of Celebration, which will take place on Monday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Lansing Center, 333 E. Michigan Ave.

Tickets can be purchased at both the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, and Lansing City Hall, 124 W. Michigan Ave. Tickets are $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight.

The theme for the 2020 luncheon is: “There Comes A Time When Silence is Betrayal.” In addition to celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King, the 2020 luncheon will also commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Selma, Ala. marches.
