EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that the East Lansing City Council will be discussing if the City of East Lansing should implement an annual deer cull program in lieu of an advisory ballot question during its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
The annual deer cull program would use lethal measures to control the deer population in East Lansing and would be completed by professionals through a contract with the United States Department of Agriculture.
Community members are invited to attend the meeting and share their feedback. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Courtroom 2 of the East Lansing 54B District Court, 101 Linden St. The meeting will also be livestreamed and available to be played back via the City’s meeting portal: https://cityofeastlansing.civicweb.net/Portal/.
Community members can also share their feedback by emailing City Council at council@cityofeastlansing.com.
