City of East Lansing leadership is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and make decisions with the best interest of the community at heart.
East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Department of Public Works and East Lansing Hannah Community Center have re-opened to the public in limited capacities. Masks are required in re-opened City facilities and in crowded, outdoor public spaces, such as the East Lansing Farmers Market and East Lansing’s drop-off recycling center. Mask are also now required at all times (indoors and outdoors) in the Downtown Development Authority district. Community members are encouraged to continue to utilize online resources when possible in order to minimize their in-person contact.
Community members are also encouraged to continue to stay connected with the City in order to remain updated on additional operational changes and re-opening plans in the coming weeks and months: https://www.cityofeastlansing.com/1897/Stay-Connected. Community members can also view the City’s electronic public meeting notices webpage for details on upcoming electronic meetings.
