EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), through a partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), is administering 60 $10,000 working capital grants to Michigan-owned small businesses in the tri-county region, including East Lansing businesses.
Grants will be administered to Michigan-based businesses with less than 50 employees that have suffered financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Business owners can visit www.purelansing.com/businessrelief for more details regarding eligibility requirements, program guidelines and a frequently asked questions document, which LEAP plans to update regularly.
The application is expected to be posted as earlier as Friday, March 27, 2020 or by Saturday, March 28, 2020, with a quick turnaround for applications from businesses. Applications will be due on Tuesday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m.
