EAST LANSING, Mich. — The City of East Lansing’s regularly scheduled, in-person public meetings will either be canceled or converted to special, electronic meetings through the end of June due to the continued COVID-19 crisis.Currently, there are five special meetings scheduled to take place electronically this week:East Lansing City Council Special MeetingTuesday, June 97 p.m.East Lansing Downtown Management Board Special MeetingWednesday, June 1011 a.m.East Lansing DDA Public Policy & Market Development Committee Special MeetingWednesday, June 101:30 p.m.East Lansing Planning Commission Special MeetingWednesday, June 107 p.m.East Lansing Downtown Development Authority Special MeetingThursday, June 1112 p.m.These meetings will be held electronically pursuant to Executive Order 2020-75 issued by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The public meeting notices, which will include details on how to view the meetings and participate in public comment during the meetings, and agenda packets may be added to the City’s Electronic Meetings webpage, www.cityofeastlansing.com/electronicmeetings, or amended up to 18 hours prior to the meeting.The Electronic Meetings webpage also includes additional electronic meetings scheduled to take place this month. The webpage will continue to be updated as new, special meetings are scheduled and public meeting notices are finalized.
