Special Meetings Scheduled to be Held Electronically This Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The majority of the City of East Lansing’s regularly scheduled, in-person public meetings will either be canceled or converted to special, electronic meetings through the end of June due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Currently, there are three special meetings scheduled to take place electronically this week and one meeting that will be held in person:

East Lansing Building Authority*
Monday, June 22 at 1 p.m.
East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road (Police EOC)
*Please note that this will be an in-person meeting, not an electronic meeting.

East Lansing Census 2020 Complete Count Committee
Monday, June 22 at 4 p.m.

East Lansing City Council
Tuesday, June 23 at 7 p.m.

East Lansing Planning Commission
Wednesday, June 24 at 7 p.m.

These meetings (with the exception of the East Lansing Building Authority meeting) will be held electronically pursuant to Executive Order 2020-75 issued by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The public meeting notices, which include details on how to view the meetings and participate in public comment during the meetings, and agenda packets may be added to the City’s Electronic Meetings webpage, www.cityofeastlansing.com/electronicmeetings, or amended up to 18 hours prior to the meeting.

The Electronic Meetings webpage also includes additional electronic meetings scheduled to take place this month. The webpage will continue to be updated as new, special meetings are scheduled and public meeting notices are finalized.
