EAST LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing City Clerk’s Office, 410 Abbot Road, will be open Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. to issue and receive absentee voter ballots for the May 5, 2015 Special Statewide Election.
Absentee ballots must be returned to the City Clerk’s Office, not the precinct, by 8 p.m. on the day of the election. The cost of postage to send ballots back is $0.70. Registered voters can also vote absentee in person at the City Clerk's Office up to 4 p.m. on Monday, May 4.
East Lansing’s polls will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day. Sample ballots and additional election information is available at www.cityofeastlansing.com/elections.
Precinct ChangesPrecinct 2 voters are reminded that their polling location has permanently changed from All Saints Episcopal Church to Martin Luther Chapel, 444 Abbot Road.
Precinct 1 voters are reminded that their polling location has temporarily changed from Brody Hall to IM West, 393 Chestnut Road on the MSU campus. This is a temporary location for the May 5, 2015 election due to finals week at Brody Hall.
