EAST LANSING, Mich. – A westbound lane shift on Grand River Avenue, between Clifton Boulevard and Harrison Road, began at 8 a.m. today, May 28 to accommodate the repair of a sanitary sewer. The work is expected to be completed by next Wednesday, June 3.
During the work, westbound traffic will be shifted to the left turn lane. Left turns from westbound Grand River Avenue to southbound Harrison Road will also be prohibited at the Grand River-Harrison intersection.
Motorists should use caution when driving through the area and seek an alternate route if possible.
